WHEAT KHARA BISCUITS

Ingredients: Makes around 50 biscuits
Wheat Flour - 2 Cups [You can skip wheat flour and use only Maida]
Corn flour - 1/4 Cup [Optional]
Maida - 1 Cup
Chilli flakes - 2 Tbsp [ Mine were not spicy. will have to increase the spice level next time]
Salt - 2 tsp
Butter/Oil/Shortening - 1 stick/ 1 Cup [mixed butter and shortening]
Crushed Jeera and ajwai powder - 1 Tbsp


Method Of Preparation:
Mix everything to a soft dough.


Keep the dough covered in fridge for 30 minutes.


Pre heat the oven to 350F/175C.
Line a cookie sheet with aluminium foil.
Make small balls of the dough. Press them a little. or use a lid/cookie cutter to make cookies.


Line them on the cookie sheet an inch apart.


Bake for 15-20 minutes till the bottom has browned a little.
Take out of the oven and let them cool for at least 10 minutes.
