BEANS, CARROT & PEAS PALYA

Ingredients:
Green Beans - 1/2 Cup
Peas - 1/2 Cup
Carrot - 1/2 Cup
Green Chillies - 3
Salt - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 Tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Coconut flakes - 1 Tbsp

Method Of Preparation:
I used frozen green beans,carrots and peas. If you have to make something in a jiffy then this palya is for you.

Heat oil in a vessel. When its hot, add mustard seeds. After they splutter, add finely cut green chillies and mixed vegetables. Fry for 2 minutes. Add Salt and turmeric powder. Mix.
Close the lid and cook on medium high heat for 10-15 minutes. Check in between to avoid vegetables sticking at the bottom.
Garnish with coconut flakes.

Enjoy with chapatis or as a side dish along with rasam-rice . :)
